Kinkodo Kamesuke Chronology
Year AD Matters
- Meiwa 2 (1765) Kinkodo Kamesuke was born into a family of puppeteers in Fushimi.
- Kansei era (1789~1801) He studied under Okuda Eisen and mastered ceramic manufacturing techniques.

Kansei 12th year(1800) Second son Yuzo (second Kinko) was born.

Bunka 4th year (1807) The third generation, Kamesuke, was born.There ware many clay molds bearing the Kamesuke signature from the Bunsei period.

Bunsei 8th year (1825) Ojiyama-yaki celadon statue of Kakinomoto no Hitomaro, Inscribed "Spring of the Year of the Rooster, 1825 (Bunsei 8)" by Kinkodo Kamesuke.

Bunsei 9th year(1826) Kamesuke's wife died.

Bunsei 11th year (1828) The second Kinko has died.

Bunsei 12th year (1829) Kamesuke built his own ceramic tomb at Senshoji Temple in Kyoto.

Bunsei 13th year (1830) Published the book "Pottery Instruction" on ceramic manufacturing methods.

Tenpo 2 (1831) Ojiyama-yaki dyed flowerpot with the inscription "Made by Kinkodo Kamesuke in the spring of 1830."This was the heyday of Ojiyama ware.There was a clay mold bearing the inscription "Kamesuke" from Ojiyama ware.

Tenpo 8th year (1837) Kamesuke's disciple, Ryukidou Kameshichi, has begun to make an impact.Kamesuke died in March.At this time, the third generation Kamesuke was 31 years old.
