In Times of Pandemic

For the past 2 years because of coronavirus, almost everything changed in our way of life, the events, gatherings, programs and so on are all affected including the Walla Walla Tamba Sasayama exchange program. It’s sad because the program was cancelled for 2 years and next year will be the 50th Anniversary and we still don’t know if travel will be permitted or even if it will be allowed, there will be a lot of restrictions and requirements which is bothersome and exhausting. Our family hoped and wished for the program to happen next year to celebrate the event and our home is welcome to accept guests again. We missed being a host family, for us it was fun and enjoyable and a good experience plus we could make new friends from Walla Walla and memories to treasure in our life
