For the past 10 years, I have accepted homestay of the children from Walla Walla. Thanks to them, I have many happy memories. I was once asked by one student, “Please! Take me to McDonald's.” The smiles on the children's faces as they happily ate their hamburgers! There were times when we cried and talked about our true feelings. I learned that it is not words that communicate, but only the desire to understand each other. I'm excited to see what kind of children will come next. I hope that we can resume soon.
